IRIS Pre-Concert Conversation & Wednesday Night Concert Previews

IRIS Orchestra

For older students and the adult public, IRIS offers several educational opportunities for minimal or no cost: 

IRIS ticket holders are invited to a Pre-Concert Conversation from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. each Saturday prior to an IRIS concert. Musicologist Jamey Lamar, IRIS Music Director Michael Stern and featured guest soloists focus on the evening's program, orchestral instruments, select composers, guest soloists and the rich history of classical music.

The Wednesday Night Concert Preview is held the Wednesday prior to each IRIS concert from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the GPAC Green Room.  Facilitated by musicologist Jamey Lamar, the preview offers insight to the orchestra's upcoming performance, with music and discussion.  Cost is $10 per person.
