Tenor Trombone: Wagner, Overture to Tannhäuser; measures 378 to end.

Bass Trombone: Wagner, Die Walküre, The Ride of the Valkyries; pick-up to "11" to 5 measures after "12". Schumann, Symphony No. 3 "Rhenish," 4th movement (entire movement).

Tuba: Wagner, Overture to Die Meistersinger; "J" to "L". Wagner, Die Walküre, The Ride of the Valkyries; pick-up to "11" to 5 measures after "12".
Percussion - Candidates must prepare the two excerpts below.
Timpani: Beethoven, Symphony No. 1, 3rd movement; measures 44 to 79 of Minuet, and last 14 measures of Trio.
Snare Drum: Prokofiev, Symphony No. 5, 4th movement; measures "111" to end (last 28 measures).
Harp: Debussy, Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun.
