2013-2014 Audition Information
Dates: April 8-10 from 3-8pm.
Fees: $10 for Current Members, $25 for New Members, $40 for Late Audition
Audition Registration Deadline: Wed. March 20 @5pm
*Please bring audition fees on day of audition (Cash, Check or Credit)
Little Mozarts
The Little Mozart Group is a string orchestra
for students 7-11 years of age. Rehearsals are held Thursdays from 4:30 - 5:45p.m.
Student placement will be based on ability, talent and skill. Student's
maturity and age are also taken into consideration.

Young Mendelssohns
The Young Mendelssohn Group is a full orchestra for students 11-14 years of age. Rehearsals are held Thursdays from 5:45 - 7 p.m.

GPAC Youth Symphony Orchestra
Under the direction of Dr. Pu-Qi Jiang, the GPAC Youth
Symphony Orchestra is a full orchestra consisting of strings, winds, brass,
percussion, harp, and keyboard. Admitted by audition, GYSO musicians are
advanced students from 14-19 years of age. GYSO members participate in a
30-week season including orchestral rehearsals, sectional rehearsals, master
classes with GPAC's guest soloists, and weekly aural training and music
appreciation sessions. Students rehearse on Saturday afternoons from 1:30-4:30
at GPAC. Choirs rehearse from 12:30-1:30pm.

Financial Aid will be available for 2013-2014 based on financial need. Applications will be available following acceptance to the orchestra.
Scholarships are available for lower register brass and string instruments.
