Laureate Society and Endowment Fund
"What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal."
GPAC Laureate Society
This society honors those many friends who have made a financial provision for GPAC in their estate plans. It is the perfect vehicle to express your love for the arts and this community. It is ideal for those who wish they could do more, but are not in a position to do so at this time. We require no specifics, there is no minimum level, and revocability is not a problem. It is the giving plan with the donor in mind.
Planned Gift Opportunities
There are many ways to make a planned gift that can be tailored to fit your best interests, from tax advantages, to the type of programming you wish to support here at GPAC. We encourage you to consult your legal or financial advisor to see if a legacy to GPAC could be beneficial to you and your loved ones. Following is a list of traditional planned giving opportunities:
The Bequest
A bequest is a statement of intent that can be inserted in your will, in a
codicil to your will, or a living trust. It can be established as a specific dollar amount to be left to GPAC, or as a general percentage of your estate. The gift may be given free of estate and other taxes.
Life Insurance, IRA or Retirement Plans
Naming GPAC as beneficiary may possibly avoid both estate and income tax consequences upon death, while greatly benefiting the programs at the Centre.
Charitable Remainder Trusts, Charitable Gift Annuities
These vehicles may provide a steady stream of income for you or your loved ones along with substantial tax savings ranging from avoidance of possible capital gains tax to income or estate tax deductions.
Charitable Lead Trusts
These may be established to both avoid gift and estate tax consequences to you, and provide an income stream to GPAC for a term of years. At the end of the specified time, the principal of the trust passes directly to your family or named beneficiaries.
