GPAC Youth Symphony Program Fall Concert: Water Music
Sunday, November 15, 2026, at 4:00 pm
Like water, music is always moving. Melodies ebb and flow, rhythms drive and pull back, and harmonies blend together, creating currents of sound that connect us across time, place, and experience. From gentle streams to powerful waves, the movement of water reflects the energy, beauty, and constant change we experience through music.
This semester, the GPAC Youth Symphony Program explores these musical currents with a concert titled “Water Music.” Featuring works including Schubert’s Symphony No. 6, selections from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, Cécile Chaminade’s Scherzo Colombine, Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 3, Aaron Copland’s Suite of Old American Songs, and Katie O’Hara LaBrie’s Sky Suite, our young musicians will bring together a wide range of musical styles and traditions. We invite you to join us for an evening of music that flows between the familiar and the unexpected, celebrating the creativity and artistry of the GPAC Youth Symphony Program.
