Announcing a new and improved Jazz in the Box Series for Season 27.

Help us welcome a master of the saxophone, Bill Hurd, and his Jazz Ensemble. Dr. Bill Hurd is a man of many lives. Track star (Manassas High and All-American at Notre Dame), graduate of MIT, and world-renowned ophthalmologist, he’s traveled to West Africa and Madagascar for medical mission work. He’s also an inventor, a husband to Judge Rhynette Northcross Hurd–oh, and a master musician playing with the likes of Kirk Whalum, Isaac Hayes, and Maurice White. Join us for a curated evening of jazz with Bill Hurd and his Jazz Ensemble. 

After each performance, join us for Cocktails & Conversation in the main lobby. This is an opportunity to visit with other concert goers and when available, the Jazz in the Box artists. Drinks will be available for purchase at the lobby bar.
