WATKINS STUDIO THEATER
Graham Winchester is a musician born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. A producer, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist, Winchester has performed in various bands for the last 20 years. He has toured extensively in the US and just got done with his 7th tour of Europe. Join him at GPAC on November 8 as he teaches how to play rock ‘n’ roll music on a variety of instruments. Winchester will talk about the history of the instruments as well as the classic ways to play them that make up the building blocks of rock music! There will be some sing-alongs, clapping, dancing, and call-and-response songs!
Now in its 30th season, this program introduces children ages 8 and under to a variety of genres including music, dance, and multicultural arts in an informal concert setting. Parents and children are invited to move and groove in these highly interactive performances held on scheduled Saturdays at 10:30 AM in the Watkins Studio Theater or Highland Capital Performance Hall.
